Barabanki: The dead body of a Dalit minor girl has been found in Uttar Pradesh. The body of a teenager who had gone to harvest paddy was found on another farm. After the body was found in a naked condition, the family members expressed the possibility of murder after the gang rape. The incident is from the Barabanki district adjoining the capital Lucknow. According to the information, a 15-year-old teenager from a village in the Satrikh police station area of Barabanki district went to harvest paddy.
The body of the teenager has been found in the field next to the field where she went to harvest paddy. According to relatives, the body of the teenager was found in a half-naked condition. In view of the situation in which the dead body was found, the relatives have feared murder after the gang rape. It is said that the teenager's arms and legs were tied. In the village where the teenager is from, only the people of the Dalit community live in that village. After receiving the information, the Satrik police reached the spot and took the body for postmortem. The police is involved in the investigation of the matter.
A few days ago, a case of gang-rape with a Dalit girl had come to light in Hathras, which had created political turmoil. The victim died in a hospital in Delhi during treatment, after which the police had forcibly cremated the body. When questions were raised on the role of the UP Police, the government had recommended a CBI inquiry along with setting up an SIT for the investigation. CBI has started investigating this case.
