Raigarh: An incident is coming to the fore from Raigarh in Chhattisgarh where the incident of suicide of a minor student has come to the fore. Troubled by online sextortion, a minor student committed suicide. As soon as the news of this painful incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the dead body into custody and started investigating the matter by sending it for postmortem.

According to the news received, the minor was being blackmailed through nude video calls and demanded money. Police said that the blackmailer had sent the video of the deceased student to his father. Because of this, he felt very ashamed and scared. Thereafter, he committed suicide by consuming insecticide kept in the house. The 17-year-old student was the class 10 topper. He recently gave the 12th board exam. The parents are in bad condition by crying due to the death of the young son. Police told that the minor had received a nude call on April 5, to which he fell victim. Due to this he started being blackmailed. The blackmailer asked him to deposit a hefty amount in the account. 

Along with this, he was threatened that if he did not deposit the amount, the video would be made viral. Then the minor got scared and somehow he deposited Rs 2,000 in his account. Then 11 hundred rupees were given through phone-pay. Still, the criminals harassed him continuously and started demanding money. Then the criminals sent the video to the father of the deceased student. On this matter, CSP Abhinav Upadhyay told that a few days ago the incident of suicide of a student has come to the fore. The matter is being seriously investigated, soon the accused will be arrested.
