Lucknow: Women's interference in the world outside the boundary wall of the house in Uttar Pradesh has been saved more than ever. Even more women than men are now stepping out of the house for work. According to the latest data from the e-Shram portal, women account for 52.36% of the total workers. According to the latest data so far, male workers are 3.94 crores, while the number of female workers has increased to 4.34 crore.  

At the same time, 2.77 crore women are doing domestic work to run their households. These figures show that there has been an increase in the exit of women for self-reliance in the state. According to the population, UP ranks first in registering on the e-Shram portal. So far, 28.12 crore workers have been registered in the country, out of which UP alone has a share of 8.29 crore. The list of the top 5 states was released on Thursday in the e-Shram portal. It is followed by Bihar, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha.

Up is also far ahead of all the states in the total number of women workers. Women of UP are working in agriculture, domestic work, building-handmade product manufacturing, apparel, leather industry, education, health, food industry, jewellery, printing, musical equipment manufacturing sector, organized retail sector, textile-handloom, automobile-transport sector. The women of UP are actively participating in every work, big and small, to stand on their feet. Seven years ago, 11 lakh workers were registered in the leather industry in UP. Now, this figure has crossed 19 lakh. In this, the number of women has been recorded at seven lakh. Earlier this figure was 2.78 lakh.
