According to the police, a staff nurse posted at Ambikapur Medical College Hospital has tried to cut the throat by suicide and the name of the staff nurse is being told as Tanuja Chauhan.

While disclosing the reasons for the suicide, the nurse blamed the superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Ravikant Das, along with the matron Draupadi Raj and Rashmi Lovango for their suicide. In this case, the staff nurse has alleged in front of the police that 'he has not been paid even salary for the last 3 months'. In this case, he has further said that if he is tortured in this way and he is not given a salary, then he has warned to commit self-immolation in front of the main gate of the hospital premises.
