BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday introduced an online portal for the state government's pensioners to verify their identification and submit life certificates. On the occasion of an orientation programme for newly hired 153 officers of the Odisha Civil Services, Patnaik effectively introduced the new system.
Pensioners can now submit identification and life certificates utilising an artificial intelligence-based video-verification process in this new system. The Chief Minister stated that it is in keeping with the spirit of his government's '5T' and 'Mo Sarkar' initiatives.
It would be extremely beneficial to retirees because they will be able to submit their identification and life certificates digitally, rather than visiting a government office, using only their mobile phones. He added that this service will be offered at Mo Seva Kendras across the state.
Patnaik expressed his delight at the idea, claiming that Odisha is the first state to adopt such a digital service for retirees. The Chief Minister, in welcoming the new officials, remarked, "The civil service is distinct in its own right. It's more than simply a job. It's a service to your motherland and the people that live there.
