On Thursday, Odisha reported NO or ZERO Covid-19 death in more than a month, while 339 more persons tested positive for the virus, bringing the total to 12,83,978, according to the state's health department.
The death toll from the coronavirus was 9,045 people. The state had reported no new fatalities as of January 12th, it said. On Wednesday, Odisha recorded 342 single-day cases and nine deaths. According to the department, there are 3,862 active cases and 12,71,018 people have recovered from the disease so far, including 797 in the last 24 hours. Since Wednesday, the coastal state has done 54,396 sample tests, with a daily positivity rate of 0.62 percent.
