Bhubaneswar: In a significant decision, the Odisha govt on Thursday announced to provide ‘Pariksha Darpan’ an examination guide free-of-cost to the students who will appear the upcoming matriculation or the annual high school certification (HSC) examination.
‘Pariksha Darpan’ containing probable questions with answers will be provided free of cost to the students, School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash said. “The Chief Minister had asked us to initiate steps to reduce the burden of students in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, we had earlier reduced the syllabus by 30%. Now we have decided to provide a test-paper ‘Pariksha Darpan’ containing probable questions and answers will be distributed among students,” said Dash.
Dash said that the 700-page test-paper booklet and we want to prepare for the exams by reading their textbooks. Subsequently, the Pariksha Darpan will be provided to the students at an appropriate time.
Around 6.50 lakh students are expected to be benefited from such move of the state government as it will help them to prepare well for the upcoming crucial board examination.
