LOS ANGELES: Hollywood Actress Olivia Colman recalled a "slightly embarrassing situation" while shooting a sex scene with Micheal Ward.

Refer to reports, aceshowbiz.com, the 48-year-old actress admits to feeling uncomfortable when she and her "Empire of Light" co-star, 25, struck up a conversation as she was straddling him and learned that his mother is five years Colman's junior.

"It was once while I was sitting next to Michael in a questionable and rather humiliating circumstance that he blurted, "It's my mother's birthday today." Okay, stop talking when you say she's 43, I told him "She said during the "The Graham Norton Show" New Year's Eve special.

In the 2022 British love movie, director Sam Mendes' original choice for the character of Hilary Small was Olivia, who played Queen Elizabeth II in Netflix's "The Crown." She uttered: "I guess it was. Sam is so kind, though, that he would still say that."

"He had me in mind as he was watching "The Crown" at the time. During lockdown, we had a Zoom communication, and I responded "okay, yeah" before I knew what it was. For him to write something for me is an amazing honour "Collman joked.

Thank God that was a fantastic portion; just image if it had been awful!  Michael was astounded by Olivia's kindness and "learned so much" from her.

He said: "An incredible experience, really. Even just sharing the same space was amazing. I discovered so much about what it means to be a genuine human being from everyone.
