England, who had lost their previous match against the Kiwis, put up a challenging total of 194 runs, riding on a blistering 80-run knock by skipper Eoin Morgan, ably supported by David Malan's half-century. New Zealand soared off to a blazing start, but choked midway and lost momentum as they succumbed to English bowling attack, two-runs short of the target. Despite, New Zealand's defeat, the highlight of the day remained Colin Munro's blazing knock of 57 runs off 21 balls, that shattered Yuvraj Singh's 11-year-old '6 sixes record'.New Zealand, on Sunday, advanced to the final round of the trans-Tasman Twenty20 triangular series, despite a narrow two-run defeat to England at Seddon Park in Hamilton.

What made Munro's knock exceptional was the number of runs coming off from boundaries. Munro's seven sixes and three fours in his 21-ball knock added up to 54 runs, which forms exactly 94.73 per cent of 57 runs that he scored in all. And this is how he broke Yuvraj's record.

India’s veteran left-hander batsmen , who had scripted record against England in the ICC World T20 tournament, had rough up 58 runs off 16 balls consisting of seven sixes and three fours. Thus, runs from boundaries form 93.10 percent of his knock. Despite the loss, the Kiwis still head to the final and will face Australia, the team that have won all the four matches played so far. The final will be on Wednesday at Eden Park in Auckland.
