The love birds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are snapped together on numerous occasion. They  make for one of Bollywood’s most adorable off-screen couple and their on-screen chemistry will soon be out for everyone to watch with Ayan Mukerji directotial Brahmastra. However, next years the lovers will clash at the box office, with Ranbir’s Shamshera and Alia’s RRR lined up for back-to-back release.

Recently Highway actress Alia Bhatt announced her Tamil debut with S Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR, which is scheduled to his the screens on July 30, 2020. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera, produced by Yash Raj Films, had booked July 31, 2020. Shamshera is an action spectacle featuring Ranbir against Sanjay Dutt in a bloody battle. The desi, high-octane malasa film will be directed by Karan Malhotra and features Vaani Kapoor as the female lead.

Interestingly,  Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi is also announced to release in July. Rohit Shetty directed cop drama Sooryavanshi will release during Eid 2020, which incidentally falls on July 30.

Talking about working with Rajamouli in RRR, Alia said, “Working with Rajamouli sir is a big big tick off my bucket list.. also to be alongside Ram Charan and Jr. NTR is an absolute honour.. I am very excited about this experience and also working in the south for the first time.. I begin shoot in less than a month.. I will be playing the role of Sita, and the film is set in 1920s backdrop.”
