Mumbai: A major step has been taken in the country's economic capital Mumbai amid the fear of omicron. Section 144 has been imposed here for a total of 16 days. On the other hand, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has asked the people of the state to follow the norms of the corona. You all must know that 65 cases of omicrons have been reported in the country so far, and the highest number of cases are coming from Maharashtra and Mumbai.

Recently, Mumbai Police has said that prohibitory orders will be in force in the city from December 16 to December 31 under Section 144 of the CRPC (Code of Criminal Criminal Procedure) and a large number of people will be banned from gathering to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Under Section 144, five or more persons cannot gather at one place and there will be a ban on holding public meetings. Public transport will be used only by those who have taken both doses of the vaccine.

The police have also said, "Only up to 50 percent capacity will be allowed to attend an event at an event and it will be mandatory for the organizers of the events to be fully vaccinated. With the confirmation of the first case of The Corona Virus in West Bengal, State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee last Wednesday asked people to follow the Covid-19 norms and expressed hope that the epidemic situation may improve by early next year.
