Saturday;July 23, 2016 :Anil Madhav Dave,who is the Environment Minister has said that, “the government has already sought legal opinion on the environment watchdog's order which directs the Delhi government to phase out old diesel cars in the National Capital Region”.

After the order of Maruti Suzuki;s Chaiman RC Bhargava, the auto industry while definitely not happy; as he said a blanket ban on diesel cars will be very detrimental for the entire sector.

Bhargava said,“This ban on diesel cars, at least I can't see how it will make any measurable difference to the air quality. It is penalizing,I don’t know how many, one and a half-two lakh, whatever is the number of such car owners, who have complied with the law in buying these cars.”
