The same Nayantara team said in the statement, 'Some information suggests that Nayantara is a part of the period film, which is based on the life of Rani Velu Nachiyar. All this information is spreading in the media at great speed. Nayantara is clearly not doing any such film. This type of news has no meaning. We request that we must verify before publishing any such news. However, Nayantara is no longer part of the film. But fans were eager to see her in this tremendous look.

Currently, Nayantara is currently waiting for the resumption of the shooting of South Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaatthe'. Recently, 4 crew members were found corona positive on the film's set, after which the makers decided to stop shooting. In addition to this film, Nayantara will be seen in Mollywood film 'Nizhal'. It was recently announced that she would share screen space with Fahad Fazil in the upcoming film 'Pattu' directed by Alphonse Puthren.
