Recently released horror-comedy film 'Munjya' has been making waves at the box office, showing impressive collections from its first day in theaters. The film managed to recover its production cost within the first week and is now generating substantial profits. Let’s delve into how much 'Munjya' collected on its second Monday, coinciding with the occasion of Bakrid.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, 'Munjya' is performing remarkably at the box office every day. This low-budget film without any major star power has been warmly received by audiences. The engaging story has captivated viewers, drawing them to cinemas in large numbers. After a smashing first week, the film continues to perform robustly in its second week.

Regarding its earnings, 'Munjya' opened with a collection of 4 crores and amassed 35.3 crores in its first week. On the second Friday of its release, the film collected 3.5 crores, followed by 6.5 crores on the second Saturday, and 8.5 crores on the second Sunday. The early trends for the second Monday, which marks the film's 11th day, indicate a collection of 4.35 crores according to Sacnilk’s early trend report.

With these figures, 'Munjya' has reached a total collection of 58.15 crores in 11 days. The film is just shy of the 60-crore mark and is on its way to joining the 100-crore club. It remains to be seen when 'Munjya' will hit the century mark at the box office.

'Munjya,' released on June 7, is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and features a cast including Sharvari, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, Sathyaraj, Suhas Joshi, and others in key roles. Produced under the banner of Maddock Films by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, this movie is the fourth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe and revolves around the tale of Munjya, inspired by Indian folklore and mythology.

The story follows a boy who wishes to marry a girl seven years older than him. When his mother discovers this, she forces him to shave his head. The boy then turns to black magic, and during this process, he dies and transforms into a Brahmarakshas (a type of demon). The film then depicts several horror-filled events.
