1 corona suspect dies in Meerut, test report is yet to come

Meerut: A person admitted in Corona Hospital at Meerut Medical College, Uttar Pradesh, died on Saturday morning. However, his corona investigation report is yet to come. Only after the investigation report can be found out whether he was corona positive or not. The Principal of the Medical College has said that from the point of view of security, his body has been handed over to the family only under protocol.

Dr. RC Gupta, Principal of the Medical College, said that on Friday, 52-year-old Chandrapal Singh, a resident of Rajnagar, was admitted to the hospital for treatment by his family members. Chandrapal had fever, cough and breathing problems for the past 10 days. On Friday, Chandrapal's blood sample was sent for corona testing. But late night, Chandrapal's condition worsened. After which he was put on ventilator. Chandrapal died at around 1.30 pm.

According to Dr. RC Gupta, the investigation report of Chandrapal is yet to come. But even after this, his body has been handed over to the family only under the protocol made for Corona. He said so far a total of 46 patients of Corona had been admitted to the medical college. Two of them have died and 15 have gone to their homes after being discharged.
