On Saturday, Goa's Health Department has submitted a report regarding Corona. In this report, a senior official said that a 74-year-old woman has died from Corona in Goa. This woman has become the fifth woman to lose her life from COVID-19. The number of coronavirus cases in the state has exceeded 1,500. The officer said that the woman from Sulket tehsil of South Goa, who was admitted to ESI hospital after a coronavirus test, died on Friday night. She said that she was the fifth woman in the state to die due to coronavirus.

The Health Department said that a tremendous increase in corona cases has been observed in Goa on Friday. Which has received the second-highest single-day spike report. In which more than 94 people were found infected. It was told that the state's tally crossed 1,500 figures. The number of positive cases in the state was 1,576 as of Friday night, of which 800 were active. He is being treated at various Covid care centres in the state.

On the other hand, in the last 24 hours, 22,771 cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) were reported in India and 442 people died. This is the most exposed case in a day. So far, 6,48,315 cases have been reported in the country and out of these 2,35,433 are active cases and 3,94,227 have recovered from the infection. 18,655 people died. In this way, about 60.80 percent patients have been cured so far. 95,40,132 sample tests of coronavirus have been done so far in the Indian Council of Medical Research, i.e., ICMR. Of these, 2,42,383 sample tests have been conducted during the last 24 hours.
