Delhi violence: Another FIR lodged against Tahir Hussain, lookout notice to issue

New Delhi: Councilor Tahir Hussain, who is accused in the Delhi violence case, is absconding. Preparations have been started to issue a lookout notice against Tahir Hussain. The crime branch of Delhi Police has started the process of issuing the lookout notice. Tahir's passport details are being investigated. The information will then be sent to FRRO.

Delhi Police is investigating the call details of Councilor Tahir Hussain. According to police sources, Tahir uses 2 mobile numbers. Call details were investigated till 12 noon on 24th, according to which Tahir was present at the same house in Chand Bagh till around 12 noon on 24th. The name of Tahir Hussain has been included in another FIR for Delhi violence. An FIR has been registered at Dayalpur police station in North-East district on the statement of Ajay Goswami, who was injured in the shooting, in which he said that bullets, stones and petrol bombs were being fired from Tahir Hussain's house.

In FIR number 88 of Dayalpur police station, Ajay Goswami said that he had gone to his uncle Rakesh Sharma's house on 25 February 2019. Khajuri was going off at around 3.50 pm, as soon as he reached the corner of the street, he noticed that there was a crowd on the main Karaval Nagar Road, stones and firing and riots were taking place. During this time, he was also shot and he was injured.
