USA: The Mercedes-AMG G 63, one of the most recognisable SUVs in the world, has seen a significant price increase of Rs. 75 lakh in India. The intimidating off-roader is now priced at Rs. 3.3 crore (ex-showroom).On our soil, the order books for the flagship model are currently open.A powerful 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine powers the four-wheeler.

The G-Wagen, which was initially created in 1979 as a military vehicle for numerous armed forces around the world, gradually began to gain favour with the general public because of its tough, all-terrain capabilities.

The Mercedes-AMG 500 GE 6.0 AMG, which featured a 6.0-liter V8 engine with 326 horsepower, was the company's first G-Wagen-based model.

The most recent G 63 model has an updated twin-turbocharged engine to meet emission standards.

The Mercedes-AMG G 63 has an aggressive front bumper, a wide air dam, a muscular clamshell bonnet, a big grille, circular LED headlights with integrated DRLs, and a boxy silhouette. ORVMs, roof rails, flared wheel arches, exhaust tips, and designer alloy wheels surround it on the sides. The rear features sleek LED taillamps and a spare wheel mounted on the tailgate.

A powerful 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged, V8 gasoline engine powers the Mercedes-AMG G 63. It is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission with three electronic locking differentials and all-wheel drive. The mill generates 850Nm of maximum torque and 577hp of maximum power.

The Mercedes-AMG G 63's interior comes equipped with a roomy five-seater cabin and a minimalist all-black dashboard. It has a leather-wrapped multi-functional steering wheel, a tablet-like MBUX infotainment panel, ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, an electric sunroof, multi-color ambient lighting, multi-zone climate control with rear AC vents, and air purifier. Numerous airbags are used to protect passengers.
