New Delhi:- According to recent reports, the OnePlus 12R 5G will launch in China next January. It appears to be the successor to the OnePlus 11R, which was released in February, and is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 5G SoC and 5,000mAh battery, as well as 100W SuperVOOC S-Flash fast charging support. The OnePlus 12R will reportedly feature a 4nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and a 5,500mAh battery with the same 100W fast charging support.

A MySmartPrice report, citing speculator Oneleaks, shows a series of images of what is believed to be a design rendering of the OnePlus 12R 5G. Like its predecessor, this phone will come in a white color variant with a slightly curved display. It features narrow side bezels and a slightly thicker chin, but looks thinner than most other models in this segment. There is a hole for the selfie camera in the center of the top of the display.

Following the OnePlus 11R's design cues, a leaked design render of the OnePlus 12R shows three camera units on the back alongside an LED flash unit placed in a circular module in the top left corner of the back panel. The right edge of the handset has an alert slider and power button, while the volume rocker is on the left. A USB Type-C port, microphone slot, and speaker grill are also visible along the bottom edge.

The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (1240 x 2772 pixels) 1.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 is likely to be available soon. It will reportedly feature an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with an Adreno 740 GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus 12R's triple rear camera unit could include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens, and a 32-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens capable of 2x optical zoom. The front camera requires a 16 megapixel sensor.

It was recommended to have a 5,500mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging support. For security reasons, there will be an in-display fingerprint scanner. It could also support 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C, and NFC connectivity.  

The current-generation OnePlus 11R is available in India in Sonic Black and Galactic Silver color options. In India, the basic 8GB + 256GB version of this device is priced at Rs 39,999, while the 16GB + 256GB is priced at Rs 39,999. 44,999. It can be purchased through OnePlus' official website, Amazon, and retailers nationwide.

The new OnePlus 12R 5G is said to be Launched in China by the January Month next year and then in India. The new smartphone will come up with new upgradations and also with new processor thatwill increase the performance of the device.
