OnePlus has rolled out its highly anticipated OxygenOS 15 update, powered by Android 15, for the OnePlus 12R in India. The update, which promises to deliver faster and smoother performance, also introduces a variety of exciting new features designed to enhance the user experience.

After the initial beta rollout for the OnePlus 12 and 12R, the stable version of OxygenOS 15 is now available to all users. Although OnePlus has not yet officially confirmed the update’s release, several users have already shared screenshots on platforms like Reddit, showing the new build (CPH2585_15.0.0.200) being installed on their devices.

• Cross-Device File Sharing
• One of the standout features in OxygenOS 15 is the new OnePlus Share system, which allows seamless file transfers between OnePlus devices and iPhones. The progress of the transfer is displayed on the Dynamic Island on the iPhone, making the process more interactive and efficient.
• AI-Powered Photo Enhancements
• OxygenOS 15 takes AI photo features to the next level. The update introduces tools such as AI Unblur to fix blurry images, AI Reflection Eraser to remove reflections, AI Detail Boost for enhanced sharpness, and Pass Scan for improved scanning quality.
• AI Productivity Tools
• The update brings several new AI-backed productivity features. AI Notes helps users improve their writing by expanding or reducing content, adjusting formality, and enhancing sentence structure. Additionally, it now supports voice input, allowing for transcription and removal of filler words. AI Reply in the smart sidebar also offers contextually relevant responses in messaging apps, making it easier to respond quickly in conversations.
• Open Canvas for Multi-App Use
• OxygenOS 15 introduces the Open Canvas feature, enabling users to split the screen and use up to three apps at once. Initially available on the OnePlus Open, this feature is now accessible across all OxygenOS 15 devices, making multitasking more efficient.
• Circle to Search and Intelligent Search
• Another exciting addition is Circle to Search, a feature previously seen on Pixel 8 and Samsung Galaxy S24 devices. It lets users search the web using intuitive gestures like drawing circles or doodles. This can be activated by long-pressing the navigation bar or pressing the home button.
