Indore: Holi festival of colors is coming. With which the weather is slowly starting to appear in the color of Holi. In the preparation of Holi, the markets are seen to be equipped. In which the most important among Rang-Gulal-Pitchakari is the celebration of Holika Dahan. Between our tradition and nature and environmental protection, awareness campaign has started in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh for the burning of Holika of cow dung cakes. This initiative of conserving livestock along with the environment is also being appreciated at the national level. Everyone is being urged this year. Holika should be combusted with condoms. In the last 3  years, hundreds of institutions, organizations, women, elderly, children, youth have been associated with this campaign. The state government, municipal corporations, urban bodies, and panchayats have also expressed support at their respective levels.

People have taken steps towards making the cowsheds self-supporting on the one hand by burning Holi with cow dung cakes. About 5 years ago, 50 traders and businessmen from Indore had prepared a formula in which cows would take out their own expenses. For this, it was necessary that cow dung condoms be used extensively. So that the environment is less contaminated by burning cow dung cakes. Dung which is considered to be second and useless becomes the medium of income. Its disposal is also easy and useful.

The daily expenditure of a cow is 40-50 rupees. If you remove other expenses of the cowshed, then you get a grant of up to five rupees for fodder-straw. There are 1296 Goshalas registered in the state. In which there are more than 640 subsidized cowsheds. There are more than 1.60 lakh cows in it. A cow gives 10 kg of cow dung daily. 16 lakh kg of cow dung is found daily in the entire state. In which 5 dung cake can be made from 10 kg of cow dung. More than 8 lakh dung cake can be made in the state. If dung cake is sold for 10 rupees, then the daily income of 80 lakhs can be earned.
