Onion-producing farmers in Nifad Shantinagar area of Nashik parked their tractors and trolleys on the road and protested against the government. Due to this movement, vehicles were blocked on both sides of the route. On Nasik-Aurangabad highway, farmers agitated after onion prices fell near Vinchur.

Businesses are sceptical about the ban on onion exports and stocking 500 quintals of onion. That is why they did not think it appropriate to visit Mandi.
