The investigation is going on in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. Since his departure, questions raised about Nepotism in Bollywood, there has also been a debate about nepotism. It has been revealed that after Sushant's death on 14 June, on 15 June, the search for the keyword Nepotism in Bollywood increased by 2000 percent.

A recent study by SEMARSH has revealed how many times the term nepotism was searched online by people from May 2019 to June 2020. Along with this, it was also shown that during this period it was searched on an average 62,458 times every month.  It has come to know that after the death of Sushant Singh, the rate of searching increased. June 15-16, the number of searches for this keyword was 153 percent more than the average.

It has also been revealed in the study that what was the impact of Sushant's death on the microblogging site and Twitter data was also looked into to find out.
