Patna: Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav has adopted the path of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Tejashwi Yadav has said that hatred, anger, and malice spread in society can be removed only with love. Addressing the inauguration program of the newly constructed auditorium at Patna Women's College, Yadav said on Friday- "There is a lot of anger and hatred in the society, which can be countered only with love."
Recently, Rahul Gandhi completed the Bharat Jodo Yatra. In this journey, he was seen appealing to the people to share love instead of hatred and anger. Calling for rising above religion and caste, Tejashwi said that some people call him a 'casteist'. He said, "If I were a racist, I would not have married a Catholic Christian." He was accompanied on the dais by former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad, who is also an MP from Patna. Tejashwi said, ''We have to rise above religion and caste. It is the constitution that runs the country. No religion tells us to fight. Today there is tension in society, there is anger and there is poison everywhere. It can only be fought with love.''
According to a report received, describing Ravi Shankar Prasad as his guardian, Tejashwi requested the BJP MP to place the demand of Patna University as a Central University before the Central Government. He said, "I am again reminding that CM Nitish Kumar has already requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi. So, please grant Central University status to Patna University." Tejashwi reminded Ravi Shankar Prasad of the old days, saying, "After all, you first met your wife in this college. Therefore, Patna Women's College wants you (Ravi Shankar) to get Patna University the status of a central university."
