New Delhi: The African country Sudan is battling badly with the civil war. In such a situation, the Indian citizens trapped there had appealed to the Government of India to save their lives. Regarding this, the Modi government has now started 'Operation Kaveri'. Under this, Indians trapped in Sudan are being brought back home safely. More than 500 people have reached Port Sudan to come to India. From where they will catch a flight to come to India. Let us tell you that earlier the central government had run operations to rescue Indians from different countries during the Corona period, as well as when the Taliban seized power in Afghanistan, Hindus and Sikh families were brought to India from there. This type of operation was also run by the Modi government during the Ukraine war and brought every Indian safely to India.

Let us tell you that, the civil war in Sudan has started due to the conflict between the army and paramilitary forces i.e. military and paramilitary. Certainly the civil war in Sudan started on 15 April 2023. However, its foundation was laid 4 years ago i.e. in the year 2019. In fact, in April 2019, the army ousted President Omar al-Bashir, who had been in power for nearly three decades. In this, the support of the army was protested by the people who supported democracy in the country. The army had carried out a coup in Sudan. But, after this people started demanding their share in the government.

After this, a new government was formed in Sudan consisting of the army and the citizens of the country. However, in October 2021, the army seized complete power in a coup. Since then the sovereign council is running the country. In this, the army and paramilitary forces play an equal role. However, the head of this council, that is, the reins of the government, is with Sudan's army chief, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan. In this way he is the President of the country. At the same time, the post of its Vice President is held by General Mohammad Hamdan Daglo, the head of the paramilitary force. The present government, i.e. the army wanted to merge the paramilitary force with the army. But, the paramilitary forces were not ready for this.

The paramilitary force said that the decision to merge should be postponed for 10 years. At the same time, the army wanted the merger of paramilitary forces with the army within 2 years. The conflict has started between the army and the paramilitary forces on this issue. In the beginning it was believed that this whole matter would be resolved through mutual talks, but it did not happen. Now the army and paramilitary forces in Sudan are shedding each other's blood to capture each other's positions. Let us tell you that due to the ongoing violence in Sudan, 413 people have lost their lives so far. This also includes 9 children. At the same time, 3551 people have been injured.
