Oppo announced the A9x, a slightly more powerful version of the A9, which debuted last month. The biggest change here is the main rear panel 48MP sensor, which replaces the 16MP module present on the A9. Another difference between the A9 and A9x is in the battery department. Both batteries have a capacity of 4020 mAh, but the A9x comes with support for fast charging VOOC 3.0, which is not in the usual A9.

However, the A9x retains the rest of the hardware from the A9, including the Helio P70 SoC, 6 GB of RAM, a 6.53-inch FHD + display and a 16 megapixel selfie sensor.
The smartphone has 128 GB of memory on board, runs an Android Pie based on ColorOS 6, and is offered in Meteorite Black and Ice Jade White colors. The price of the Oppo A9x is 1999 yuan ($ 289), and it will go on sale in China from May 21.
