INDORE: Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized on Monday that India has an opportunity to become the "skill capital" of the globe due to the talent and work ethics of its young people.

"India has the potential to become the world's skill capital as well as the centre of knowledge. This human capital may drive global economic growth, the Prime Minister said while inaugurating the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention in Indore.

PM Modi urged the gathering to tell the youth about their country and also provide them with occasions to visit it. With traditional perceptive and modern approach, these young Pravasis would be better prepared to educate the world about India thanks to their traditional knowledge and contemporary outlook. The youth's interest in India is growing, which will benefit India's tourism, research, and glory " the PM said.

Through universities and research institutions, the prime minister recommended making a concerted effort to chronicle the lives, the struggles, and the contributions of Pravasi Bharatiyas to their respective countries. The Prime Minister said that each and every Bharatvanshi carries the whole India with him or her. "India has made an effort to grow its diaspora over the past 8 years. Wherever you are, India is committed to serving your interests and meeting your expectations " he added.

The Prime Minister emphasised that this year, India would hold the G-20 Presidency, which is a wonderful opportunity to share India's past experiences with the world in order to achieve a sustainable future and learn from them.
