The special version of Oppo Reno 7 5G has been launched in China. The company called it New Year Edition Oppo Reno 7 5G. The special edition smartphone has been introduced in a new colour and the back panel of the phone has been decorated with special logos by the company. No information has been released so far about the phone being launched in the rest of the market. Oppo Reno 7 series has been launched in China in November. The series is yet to be launched in The Global Markets.
 
Price and availability of Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year Edition: The Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year Edition is priced at the same price as the Vanilla Oppo Reno 7 5G. Whose 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs 31,800), 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 35,400). Along with this, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant has been launched for CNY 3,299 (about Rs 38,900). Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year Edition is being given in a special colour 'Velvet Red.' The Tiger logo is engraved right next to its rear camera module. Through a post, Oppo has said that the company has carved the Tiger logo on the back panel of the new model because 2022 is being called the year of Tiger in China.
 
Oppo Reno 7 5G specifications: Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year Edition is just a redesign of this series. The specifications of which were launched in November are similar to the vanilla Oppo Reno 7 5G. The phone flaunts a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Reno 7 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor and supports up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It is available with a triple rear camera setup, which also includes a 64-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The phone has a 32-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX709 sensor.

The Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year Edition packs up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Talking about connectivity options, support for 5G, 4GVoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS / A-GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port is also available. An in-display fingerprint sensor is also being given in the phone. This phone is backed by a 4500mAh battery, which supports 60W Flash Charge fast charging. The weight of the phone is 185 grams.
