Bangalore: A new government is going to be formed in Karnataka today. Siddaramaiah will take oath as CM and DK Shivakumar as Deputy CM. Apart from them, 8 MLAs will also be made ministers today. This information has been given by Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge himself. Earlier it was discussed that a total of 28 MLAs could be included in the cabinet. There is also talk of sharing the ministries equally in both the camp of Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar.

According to media reports, the Congress MLAs who will be sworn in as ministers today include the names of Dr. G Parameshwara, KH Muniyappa, KJ George, MB Patil, Satish Jarkiholi, Priyank Kharge, Ramalinga Reddy and BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan. Priyank is the son of Congress President Kharge. Before leaving for Bangalore, Mallikarjun Kharge said, 'Today is the swearing-in ceremony. 8 MLAs including CM, Deputy CM took oath for the post of ministers. I am also going there to participate in it. It is a matter of happiness that there is a new government and a strong government in Karnataka. With this, Karnataka will develop and at the same time a good environment will be created in the country.'

For this, Kharge has invited Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray. Along with this, others including former CM Farooq Abdullah and Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren have also been called. However, Mamta Banerjee is not attending it.
