Washington: The North Carolina church in the US has been ordered to close in the wake of the growing outbreak of Covid infections. A North Carolina health official has announced the temporary closure of a large church on Saturday. Officials said the social distances are not adhered to, with which the risk of infection is increasing here. In view of this, this decision has been taken.

According to information received, the health director of Mecklenburg County, Gibi Harris, announced the closure of all its buildings to the United House of Prairie for the public and said the church has not cooperated in efforts to prevent the spread of the virus. Harris said at least 3 deaths and more than 121 confirmed cases of the virus had surfaced from the church.  Continuing his point, he said that even after the infection, several church meetings were held and the physical distance has been violated. In view of this, this ban has been issued.

It is noteworthy that the second wave in the United States and Europe has begun to wreak havoc. The death toll from new cases has started increasing. The US has received the highest 84,218 new cases in a day for the first time after three months. Earlier, on July 16, the highest 77,299 new cases were reported. On Friday, 76,195 cases were registered. The surge in cases has been seen in Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin two weeks before the November 3 presidential election.
