Bhubaneswar: The number of cases under treatment in Odisha has crossed one lakh on Thursday amid continued growth in the day-to-day cases of corona. A health department official has informed about the same. He said that with the confirmation of corona virus in 10,649 more people in the state, the number of infected people has increased to 1,00,313, while 4,73,680 patients have been recovered so far from the infection.

In the new cases, 5,965 have been confirmed in quarantine centres and 4,684 cases were confirmed during the examination of people exposed to infected patients. According to the official, Khurda has reported the highest number of 1,557 cases, followed by 930 in Cuttack, 774 in Sundargarh, 557 in Angul and 503 in Balasore.
