Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported 52 deaths of corona virus on Monday, the highest in a day. That's where 2,803 new cases have been found. The official said that in 2,803 new cases, 1,597 cases were found at the isolated centre, while other contacts were detected.

He said 29,620 patients are undergoing corona treatment in the state. Meanwhile, the state government has entrusted the additional responsibility of the women and child development department to senior officer PK Meharda, who is serving as secretary to the governor, in view of fears of a third wave of epidemic.
