Hyderabad Osmania Hospital was a great success. The 30-year-old woman suffering from two rare diseases was saved by osmania general hospital (OGCH) surgeons and urgent surgery intervention was needed. The patient living in The Kamareddi District joined OH with severe abdominal pain and vomiting and in a series of diagnostic tests revealed that she was suffering from diaphragmatic hernia, another rare clinical medical condition known as birth defect and gastric vululva.
According to OG Department of Surgery doctors, gastric volulus is a rare condition in which the stomach is rated by 180 degrees, which can cause a severe stomach emergency or chronic occasional problem. Diaphragmatic hernia is a birth defect in the diaphragm, which results in the organs in the abdomen, including the intestines, stomach, liver, and the chest cavity.
However, the patient was discharged on Wednesday and should visit the hospital again two weeks later for follow-up. The surgeons involved in these procedures include Dr Nagender, Dr Anil Kumar, Dr Rani, Dr Venkateswar Rao, Dr. Pandu Nayak, Dr Srinivas and others.
