Adding her thoughts to ongoing debate over films releasing digitally, newbie Valentina Creado says OTT platforms allows viewing in the safe and comfortable environment of home. Ever since the lockdown, Big Banners are opting for digital release. Recently Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Gulabo Sitabo released digitally, which will be followed by Vidya Balan starrer Shakuntala Devi.
Though the theatre owners and distributor are opposing the move, but Valentina Creado has an interesting take on the whole issue. She said, “Due to lockdown Industry has faced a huge loss. I think to co-up with the loss they will put up all the movies on Amazon Prime, Netflix and other OTT platforms. I think this is the most convenient and best way to keep the fans engaged and entertain at home, where it is safe and comfortable”
Valentina is a model turned actor, who has done substantial amount of short films and collaborated with noted You Tubers. Talking about her journey, Valentina said, “I am a Mumbai based model and an actor. I have completed my studies in mass media. Born and brought up in Mumbai suburbs. I have done print shoots for various in-house designers and many clothing brands. Recently I did a shoot with UC browsers.
Besides modelling, I have done acting for short films and for Youtubers. I am very sincere and
punctual with my work. I don’t miss the opportunity that comes in my way. Also, I am looking for more opportunities after this lockdown” added Valentina. Valentina is a positive and self-motivated artist, she spend her entire lockdown period learning new skills.
Talking about her lockdown period, Valentina said, “Amid lockdown, I was doing my own self-
portrait creative shoot. In fact, I did the editing by myself. I grabbed the knowledge of editing
watching YouTube videos. Like basic editing and the filters that I can use. Apart from this, I am creative too. I enjoy doing paintings. For shoots mostly I used my home props which were easily available”
Valentina also hinted about her Bollywood debut, she said, “Everything is under process. Nothing on dotted line as yet, hopefully I will share the big debut news with my fans.”
