Kolkata: Opposition unity reached West Bengal, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar met Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav and cabinet colleague Sanjay Jha were also present along with Nitish Kumar. There was a discussion between all these leaders to strengthen the opposition unity in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

It was decided in the meeting that all the parties would together fight against the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Along with this, the next meeting of the opposition will be held in Bihar, in which the leaders of all the parties will sit together and determine the future strategy. A joint press conference was also organized after this meeting. In this, CM Nitish Kumar first addressed the media. Nitish said that he talked to Mamta Banerjee in a very good atmosphere. The conversation was very positive. We are all ready to come together.

During this, Nitish Kumar targeted the central government and said that they do not do anything, only do propaganda. If we all get together, we will remove them from power. Those people have nothing to do with the development of the country. Along with this, CM Nitish praised Mamta Banerjee's development work in Bengal. At the same time, in the press conference, CM Mamta Banerjee said that our mission is clear that BJP has to be removed from power. For this, all the parties together will fight against the BJP in 2024.
