Kolkata: The situation of corona in West Bengal is deteriorating every day. More than 20,000 new cases are being registered daily in the state and the death toll is also beginning to scare. Since the election, there has been a sharp increase in the number of infected patients. The patients are so large that the hospital is short of beds and oxygen is not being provided if required. A new initiative called 'Oxygen on Wheels' has been launched for covid patients in Kolkata.

Through this initiative, every corona patient who needs oxygen is being helped. It has been said that unless a better facility is provided for the patient, they will also be kept alive through 'oxygen on wheels' and adequate oxygen will also be given. Tell us that this unique initiative has been launched by Liver Foundation. It has been reported that the Health Ministry of the Mamata government is also playing an active role in the initiative.

Under this initiative, two ambulances are being operated in Kolkata, which is providing oxygen at home to any corona patient. But people will benefit from this initiative only when they report corona positive. For now, some people are being helped through this initiative, but it is set to be launched on a bigger scale in the coming days. It is learnt that 'Oxygen on Wheels' can also be introduced in cities around Siliguri and Kolkata. As soon as this happens, the benefits of this initiative will reach more people.
