Ozonetel, a prominent provider of the oneCXi platform for unified customer experience intelligence, has announced its acquisition of CloudConnect Communications. This mobile-first digital Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) provider is also a licensed virtual network operator under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

This strategic move positions Ozonetel to leverage the rapidly expanding global UCaaS market, valued at over USD 50 billion. The integration of CloudConnect’s TRAI and DoT-compliant UCaaS solutions into Ozonetel’s oneCXi platform will enhance the company’s capabilities in modern business communication.

Ozonetel emphasized that this acquisition will enable them to provide seamless, comprehensive solutions that integrate workplace communication, collaboration, customer engagement, and experience management. As mobile technology continues to transform traditional Private Branch Exchange (PBX) systems, businesses are often challenged by frequent communication interruptions. The newly integrated platform will streamline these processes, helping employees remain focused while allowing executives to manage calls more effectively, thus boosting overall productivity.

The enhanced UCaaS capabilities will also improve customer experiences by ensuring that calls are directed to the appropriate employees, even outside of regular office hours. This blend of mobile convenience and the reliability of traditional systems allows businesses to maintain control over their communications while enhancing customer satisfaction.
