New Delhi: The country's GDP has seen a decline due to the Corona crisis and lockdown. The GDP figures have deteriorated in two consecutive quarters and due to these, there are signs of recession. Meanwhile, Congress leader and former finance minister P Chidambaram has targeted the Central government. He made the basis for the report of GDP growth of -8.6% in the last quarter and said, "The situation is worrying, in such a situation, the government should take concrete steps. This is not a celebration of any time."
He also said, "Today the GDP has once again reached minus, in such a situation when the recession is at its head, then the government should not celebrate any kind of celebration." The former Finance Minister says that 'justice plan is needed at this time so that money can reach the hands of the people. Help should be provided to the farmers, but the government has increased the crisis on the farmers by bringing new farmers bill. Unless the common man has no money, then how will the economy grow? '
A report has come in the past which claimed that India's GDP growth in the quarter from July to September was 8.6%. This is not being considered as official data and talk of the government, the figures have not yet been released by them.
