New Delhi: Police has arrested a 22-year-old environmental activist Disha Ravi in the toolkit case. Farmers and Congress leaders have started opposing this matter. Congress veteran and former finance minister P Chidambaram have asked whether the toolkit supporting farmers is more dangerous than Chinese intrusion into Indian territory?

Farmer leader Darshan Pal says that the Disha should be released immediately without any condition. Along with this, Meena Harris, the niece of US Vice President Kamala Harris, has written on social media about why the government is targeting the activist. The police arrested the Disha on Sunday in the case of a toolkit shared by Greta Thunberg in support of the farmers' movement. Greta shared a toolkit with her tweet a few days ago. However, she later deleted it. Police say that Disha had circulated it.

Chidambaram tweeted that, "If 22-year-old Mount Carmel College student and climate activist Disha Ravi has become a threat to the country, India stands on a very weak foundation. A toolkit brought by Chinese troops to support peasant opposition is more dangerous than infiltration into Indian territory. India is becoming an absurd theater and it is said that Delhi Police has become the weapon of the oppressors. I strongly condemn Disha Ravi's arrest and request all students and youth to raise their voices against autocratic rule."
