Ajmer: There was a stir in Ajmer city of Rajasthan on Friday at that time. When bundles of 2 thousand notes were seen floating in Anasagar lake. The local people immediately informed the police. After which the police reached the spot, with the help of divers, took out 54 bundles of notes from the lake. Police say that these notes look fake. Which is a total of 1.08 crores in the count. However, due to the wetness of the note, nothing has been clarified.

Reserve Bank of India was written on all the notes. Which looked exactly like the original 2 thousand note. Let us tell you that all the bundles of notes were sealed in plastic bags. The incident took place near Century Public School on Pushkar Road. ASI Baldev Singh said that information was received about getting 2 thousand notes in 3 bags in Anasagar lake. We reached the spot and recovered the notes lying in Anasagar lake. He told that the notes found from the lake could be fake. The police have said that after taking information about this from RBI and other banks, investigation will be done in this matter. Along with this, the police is also finding out who has thrown these notes in the Anasagar lake. So that the situation can be clear that from where this note came in Anasagar.

In June 2021 also, genuine 200-500 notes were found floating near Ramprasad Ghat in Anasagar Lake. There was a crowd of people on the information of the notes and divers also jumped into the lake. On information, the Ganj police station reached the spot and recovered the notes found floating in the lake. In the investigation, it was found that these notes had come out of a purse that had fallen in the lake of some Zarine.
