Ashoknagar: A painful incident has come to light from Ashoknagar district of Madhya Pradesh. Here the truck came in contact with an 11,000-volt wire and the current spread in the truck and there was also a fire. The driver jumped down to avoid the current, but he fell on the burning tire and died. His son was also present at the spot at the time of the incident. But he couldn't save his father. Police said the truck belonged to the person who died in the accident. He had come from Indore to Ashoknagar with his son to hire wood.

The incident took place on Thursday afternoon in Shadaura village of the district. Deshraj, a resident of Dewas, told the police that he along with his father Dilip Rajput had come from Indore to fill wood from Shadaura village in Ashoknagar district. The truck is in his father's name and he himself used to drive. He work as a cleaner.

Deshraj further said that the 11,000 volt wire from the village was hanging very low. The father did not pay attention to this and the truck touched the current wire. This caused the current to spread in the truck and we got a sharp shock. The tyres of the truck exploded. When I got down to see the tyres, I saw that they were on fire. Deshraj said that in the meantime, father Dilip also jumped down from the truck, but the burning tyre caught fire and his body also caught fire. I could not save my father and my father was burnt to death in front of my eyes. The body was sent to the mortuary by the police and a case has been registered.
