Islamabad: Pakistan's economy has gone into a pit. The rising inflation has upset the general public of Pakistan. The country's PM Imran Khan has also accepted the deteriorating economy several times. Now, the official Twitter handle of the Pakistan Embassy in Serbia has complained of non-payment of salaries for months.

The Embassy tweeted that inflation broke all previous records. How long do you (Imran Khan) expect us government officials to remain silent and continue to work for you for the last 3 months without pay. Our children have been expelled from school for not paying fees. Is this the new Pakistan? In another tweet, the Embassy has said, "I am sorry Imran Khan. I had no other choice left. On the issue, Focal Person for Imran Khan's digital media, Dr. Arslan Khalid has said that as per information received from the Foreign Office, the Twitter handle of pakistan's embassy in Serbia has been hacked and the Pakistan Foreign Ministry is investigating it.

Recently, the Government of Pakistan has signed an agreement with the Saudi Fund for Development and taken a $3 billion loan. According to Pakistan media reports, the loan has been taken at an expensive interest rate. Pakistan is also burdened with several billion stake in China. On social media, people from all over the world, along with India, Pakistan, have mocked the Government of Pakistan and Imran Khan for this tweet. Many have termed it as an international humiliation of Pakistan.
