Islamabad: Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa says that no agreement will ever be reached on the Kashmir issue. Bajwa reached the Army Hospital in Muzaffarabad on Monday. Where he has said that we are able to thwart any aggression to protect our motherland. Along with this, they are also fully prepared. Addressing the troops in Muzaffarabad, the capital of the Line of Control and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), Bajwa said that we want peace on the Kashmir issue, but it should not be considered our weakness.

At the same time, Russia has said on this issue that it has no interest in raising the Kashmir issue in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). Pakistan has been stunned ever since the Indian government removed Article 370 of the Constitution granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Tensions between the two countries are at its peak. Pakistan had repatriated the Indian High Commissioner, undermining its diplomatic relations by being intimidated by India's move.

Deputy Ambassador of Russia Roman Babushkin said on Monday that our position on the Kashmir issue is very clear. According to the Simla Agreement and the Lahore Declaration, India and Pakistan should resolve any of their issues on a bilateral basis. Recently, China had proposed to call a meeting on Kashmir issue in the United Nations meeting. However, the US, France, Britain and Russia rejected China's efforts.
