An anti-terrorism court in Pakistan's neighboring Pakistan deferred its verdict against the Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed on 11 February in two cases of terrorist funding. Hafiz himself requested to postpone the decision. Lahore's Anti Terrorism Court, ie ATC Judge Arshad Hussain Bhutta reserved the judgment last week in two cases against the Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief for providing funds for terrorist activities.

He made an application before the ATC court on Saturday i.e. in which all the cases of terrorist funding running against him should be clubbed and the verdict should be given only after joint hearing of the two cases. Judge Arshad Hussain Bhutta, taking Hafiz's application, gave the next date.

On this matter, the officials said that the deputy prosecutor opposed Saeed's plea and argued that the trial in both the cases has been completed, in which case the court of law can pronounce the verdict. But the court issued notice to the prosecution and the defense, giving the 11th date for arguments on Saeed's fresh plea. In the case, terrorist Hafiz Saeed was produced amid heavy security arrangements. Presented. Hafiz Saeed and others were charged on December 11 in both cases. After this, there was a daily hearing. Hafiz Saeed's statements have also been recorded in both these cases. Hafiz has said not to be guilty, calling the allegations against him baseless. Both the above cases of terrorist funding were registered by the Anti-Terrorism Department of Punjab Police in Lahore and Gujranwala cities. Explain that the counter terrorism department has registered a total of 23 FIRs against Hafiz and his associates. Saeed was arrested on 17 July last year. He is kept in Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore.
