New Delhi: The raise of cyber crime is increasing, and now there are cyber wars happening between countries. Pakistan has targeted India and doing cyber-attacks.

To prevent these attacks Indian security researchers have issued a security alert, Indian Army, and top universities of country like IIT and NIT have found that the cyber war is coming from Pakistan hackers’ group ‘Transparent Tribe’. It is also known as side copy which is targeting the Indian defence organisation.

It is also identified that for the cyber-attack a DRDO scientist has hand in the cyber war, he gave some secret information to Pakistan agent.

Transparent tribe are focusing on targeting to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) since may 2022, these attacks was figured in the first couple of month in 2023.

These are some strategies used by Pakistan hackers:

  1. Use Linux malware – reportedly hackers in Pakistan are using Linux to target Indian government.
  2. Hackers using these chat apps – apps like Bing chat and chaotic are been used to chat, gravity rat is a app used from 2015 and used to target India by this application.
  3. Dangerous filenames detected – there are some files decteded like DRDO-K4-Missile-Clean-room.zip; office.template.mac; office.template.ui; DRDO - K4 Missile Clean room.pptx.lnk; DUser.dll and test.bat.

In today’s world cyber wars are happening which have a alert and can take a countries wealth, in today world data has a lot of cost and everyone is after a data the more data the more powerful country. India has been targeted as India is the world populated country and is biggest market, these are some points where India is been targeted.
