Peshawar: Former cricketer of Pakistan Zafar Sarfraz has died due to being infected with Coronavirus. Giving information to the hospital sources, Geo TV has told that Sarfaraz succumbed to the coronavirus in Lady Reading Hospital late on Monday night.

According to local sources, 50-year-old Sarfaraz was Pakistan's first professional cricketer, who has died due to Coronavirus infection. Last Tuesday, his corona test was found positive and he was kept on ventilator for the last 3 days. Sarfaraz played cricket between 1988 and 1994 and List-A cricket between 1990 and 1992.
