Washington: Turkish President Recep Erdogan has revealed that Pakistan did not attend the Kuala Lumpur Islamic Summit as it was threatened with not coming from Saudi Arabia. According to Jagran.com, Erdogan claimed that the Saudi Arabian government threatened financial sanctions against Pakistan, fearing that he did not attend the Kuala Lumpur Islamic Summit.

Remarkably, the Islamic summit hosted by Malaysia earlier this week did not include nations such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt.
