Pakistan accepts ‘Chinese version’ of treatment of Uighur Muslims: PM Imran

Islamabad: Ever since the news of atrocities against Uighur Muslims in Xinjiang, China, the question has been raised as to why Pakistan does not respond to it as a supporter of Muslims from Palestine to Kashmir. Now, after a long time, there has been a response from Pakistan on the issue, in which PM Imran Khan has "accepted China's lies" by turning a blind eye to all China's atrocities on Uighur Muslims.

Imran Khan says his government supports China's statements on allegations of treatment of Uighur Muslims. Imran Khan said this citing Islamabad's close ties with Beijing. Imran says the Western media is raising the issue completely differently. It is hypocrisy. There are heinous violations of human rights in different parts of the world, but the Western media does not comment on them. Imran has also criticised the Western media for reporting on the Uighur Muslims and the Hong Kong issue. Several media reports have revealed that China has imprisoned nearly 1 million Uighur Muslims at the detention centre. Where they are tortured in various ways. At the same time, they are prevented from following their religion and rape of women, abortion is common there.

He left no stone unturned to build a curse on China. Imran said China has supported Pakistan whenever it comes into trouble politically or internationally. The relationship between Pakistan and China has nothing to do with India. The relationship between the two countries is bilateral and very strong. Khan has given his opinion while talking to Chinese journalists on the occasion of the completion of 100 years of the ruling Communist Party in China.
