Islamabad: Pakistan PM Imran Khan has made a big confession on terrorism, saying that Pakistan had prepared and trained jihadists in 1980 to fight the war against Russia (then the Soviet Union) in Afghanistan. In an interview with a Russian channel, on one side, he has accused the US that Pakistan had assisted the US against Russia during that period of the Cold War. The jihadis were trained to fight against the Russians. But in spite of this, America is now blaming Pakistan.

Imran Khan said that in the 1980s, Pakistan was training such Mujahideen people to proclaim jihad against them when the Soviet Union takes over Afghanistan. The money was given to Pakistan by the US agency CIA for training these people. But after a decade, when America came to Afghanistan, it named the same organizations who were in Pakistan, from Jihadi to being terrorists.
