Islamabad: The truth about those involved in leaking the audio from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) of Pakistan has come out. Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has given information in this regard. He said some staff members of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif's house have been identified in this regard. The leaked audio clip had the voices of PM Shehbaz Sharif, PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz and former PM Imran Khan. This leak scandal was fiercely criticized by the opposition. At the same time, questions were raised on the cyber security of the PM's official residence and office.

Now, denying the involvement of any foreign spy agency in this audio leak, Minister Sanaullah has said, 'Some staff members of the Prime Minister's house have been identified. Such things are done for money.' Speaking on air during a TV show, he said that former PM Imran Khan has announced that he will go to court in connection with the audio leak controversy. Giving more details, the minister said that a small recording device was regularly installed on the premises to record telephonic conversations and informal talks at the Prime Minister's Office.

He said there was no problem in sharing the findings of the investigation with the court and the public. The final decision in this regard will depend on PM Shehbaz Sharif, his cabinet and National Security Committee (NCC).
